Earlier this afternoon, a Canadian Air Force CC-150 Polaris landed in Malta from Paphos for a night stop. The Royal Canadian Air Force operates 5 CC-150 Polaris, all of which were originally civilian airlines operated by Wardair and entered service between 1992 and 1993.

In 2008, two of the five CC-150s were converted to air-to-air refuelling tankers, capable of ferrying a flight of four CF-18 Hornets non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean, off-loading 80,000 pounds of fuel.
