A Gulfstream Aerospace G-V-SP Gulfstream G550 belonging to the Turkish Government (TC-DAP) visited LMML today 5th August 2020. The aircraft will transport Turkish officials to Libya where they will discuss important issues related to illegal migration. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Maltese Islands will also visit Libya to discuss this pressing issue. Along with COVID-19, this issue is currently at the forefront of matters that needs addressing not just in the Maltese Islands but also in the Mediterranean.
